Alchemilla

Alchemilla photo

The Alchemilla are perennial herbaceous plants from the Rosaceae family that are often known by their more common name of Lady's Mantle. This name is more often associated with the specific Alchemilla Molis species; though it is normally used to describe other species within the genus as a more umbrella term. It is believed that there is around 300 different species of this plant and most have been found to originate in the most subarctic regions and countries of Asia and Europe where there is a cool climate; though some species do originate from the mountains of the Americas and even Africa. The vast majority of Alchemilla species of plants have basal leaves, while others have lobe formed leaves that radiate out from a central point. There are others still though that have divided leaves that form in a fan shape with teeth on their tips. When most Alchemilla plants bloom in the early summer, late spring the flowers are bright chartreuse or green and appear just above the foliage in small, tight clusters. If you are looking to buy Alchemilla flowers wholesale Holland company Astra Fund have them in the colours and varieties described above and can be easily ordered online for delivery.
