Godetia, sometimes also called Clarkia, is a genus of flowering plant of the Onagraceae family. More than 40 species are currently categorized in this genus and nearly all are native to North America, from British Colombia to California. Several members of the genus include Clarkia amoena, Clarkia lassenensis and Clarkia affinis. Many people consider Godetia a wildflower.

This easy to grow plant is typically an annual flower, and grows to a height of up to 1.5m and spread 8 - 12 inches. Its leaves are simple and small, from 1-10 cm long, depending on the species. Godetia flowers bloom in fall or summer, and sometimes during winter in mild climates. Nearly all flowers are semi-doubles or doubles and have ruffle, crepe-like petals. They have four petals and four sepals. They also come in a wide range of colors.
