Dendrobium grows on the trees and rocks in the wild. The name of Dendrobium is derived from the Latin word used for “tree” and “bios” which means “life”. The Dendrobium flowers are available all year round, with a peak in the autumn so buy “Dendrobium” wholesale. The compactum and the phalaenopsis hybrids are the two types of Dendrobium. You can buy “Dendrobium” wholesale from Holland with the help of the Dutch company «Astra Fund Holland BV» as it deals in the wholesale of plants and flowers.

Dendrobium plants have at least three to four canes having four to eight leaves on each cane. The species of compactum comes in blue, pink and white colors. On the other hand, the phalaenopsis hybrids come in purple, pink, white, blue, yellow, red, green, cream and brown colors.

In summer and winter, Dendrobium prefers to have a light spot, but no direct sunlight. For the Dendrobium, the ideal temperature is between 18 to 22 °C. The species of compactum blossoms for eight and twelve weeks as there are various branches on the plants. The Dendrobium plant can continue to blossoms for twelve to sixteen weeks. The blossoming period for the phalaenopsis species is between ten to sixteen weeks.

Dendrobium plants should be watered once a week, preferably with the rain water. If you immerse the plant in the lukewarm water then the plant does best. The roots of Dendrobium are very sensitive towards water; the residue water should be decanted away. With orchid food, feed the plant once a month throughout the year but a smaller amount of water should be given in the winter.

When Dendrobium has finished blossoming then cut the stem of the flower just above the top leaf of the pseudo-bulb. The care for the plants should be same after blossoming as it was during the blossoming. The Dendrobium has origination from the region between the New Guinea, Japan, Australia, and South-East Asia as far as New Zealand.
