Ligustrum Vulgare is an admirable flowering plant that’s sometimes also known as wild privet, European privet or common privet. It is a species of Ligustrum and native to the bushes and woodlands of Asia, North America, Australia, Europe, and Himalayas. Ligustrum has roughly 50 species and every tree species has its own type and color of leaves. Ligustrum produce lovely scented white flowers and also bears small round fruits.

Ligustrum is a deciduous or semi-evergreen shrub that grows to 3 m tall. The stems are erect, stiff with grey-brown bark dots with small brown lenticels. The leaves are sub-shiny green, narrow oval, 0.5–1.5 cm broad, 2–6 cm long and borne in decussate opposite pairs. Its flowers are hermaphrodite, which means they contain both male and female organs, and are pollinated by Insects. Ligustrum is well-known for attracting wildlife.
